Hand forged ‘Unicorn Shoes’ made in the shape of the silphium seed.
These shoes have been designed and forged by Nottinghamshire blacksmith David Gill and form part of the ironwork range by GILL & SON.
These shoes are forged in a coal fire, cleaned, polished and then finished, using ‘Renaissance Wax’.
Exposed to the elements, like any iron or steel horseshoe, these shoes will rust but regular waxing will inhibit this effect and develop a patina.
Adding to our popular range, these shoes arrive presentation gift boxed, which makes their appeal more the greater.
Ideal for 6th and 11th wedding anniversaries, forged in mild steel (99% iron), these quirky items have a great attraction to many people…lovely to own and lovely to gift.
